Privacy

What we do with your details.

This page covers the personal data Sage AI collects through this website and how it is handled.

Who we are

Sage AI, established in the Netherlands. For anything on this page, write to contact@sageai.nl. Our registration details are in the company details section.

What this website collects

When you submit the demo request form, we receive your name, work email, company and any optional message you include. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tags. The homepage uses locally hosted fonts and scripts. The existing Atlas and pitch pages load fonts from Google Fonts.

Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention, as any web host does.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

To reply to you and arrange the demo you asked for. The legal basis is your request: you contacted us asking us to get in touch. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Demo requests are kept for up to twelve months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If you become a customer, contract and invoicing records are kept for seven years as Dutch tax law requires.

Who can see it

Sage AI and the service providers needed to host this website and deliver email. Netlify hosts the website and stores form submissions on our behalf. Demo requests are sent to Sage AI by email notification.

Business data you send us for analysis

We treat your business data as confidential. Sales exports can contain personal data, so remove customer names, addresses and other personal details before sending them. Before you send anything, we agree in writing what is needed, who will see it, how it will be transferred and when it will be deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@sageai.nl and we will act within thirty days. If you are unhappy with how we respond you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.

Terms

The terms we work under.

Plain terms for using this website and for the analysis we provide. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

Who you are contracting with

Sage AI, registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 42110348. Contact: contact@sageai.nl.

This website

The figures and examples shown here come from analysis of historical wholesale trading data. They illustrate what Sage produces. They are not a forecast of your results, a valuation of your inventory, or an offer of a specific outcome.

Requesting a demo or an analysis

Submitting the form or contacting us is a request to talk, not a contract. Nothing is owed by either side until we agree scope, price and data handling in writing.

How an analysis is produced

Your sales, stock and purchasing history is analysed to identify demand changes, inventory risks and purchasing priorities. No report is sent to you without review.

Sage puts the evidence and the recommended action in front of your team. Your team makes the purchasing decisions, which is deliberate: we do not place orders, change orders, or connect to your systems unless that is separately agreed in writing.

An analysis works from what your data contains. It cannot see what the data does not hold, such as a product about to be discontinued, a promotion planned for next month, a contract change, or a customer you already know is leaving. Those belong in the room when your team reviews the findings.

Your data

Data you send remains yours. We treat it as confidential, use it only to produce your analysis, and do not share it or sell it. Before you send anything we agree what is needed, who will see it, how it is transferred and when it is deleted. See the privacy policy for personal data.

Our work

Methods, code and report formats remain ours. The findings about your business are yours to use however you like, internally or with your advisers.

Liability

We stand behind the analysis we produce and the method behind it. What follows from it depends on decisions, timing and market conditions outside our control, so no particular financial result is warranted. Except where Dutch law does not permit it to be limited, our liability is capped at the fees paid for the work in question, and does not extend to lost profit, lost sales or consequential loss.

Ending an engagement

Either side can end an ongoing arrangement with reasonable notice. Work already done is payable; work not yet started is not.

Which law applies

Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.

Changes

These terms may change. The version in force is the one published when we agree the work.

Figures & analysis

How to read Atlas stock values and recommendations.

Where the figures come from

The figures discussed here come from analysis of historical wholesale trading data. Inventory positions include reconstructed stock and simulated purchasing. Unit costs are modelled. They demonstrate the decisions Atlas supports, rather than results measured after a customer adopted Atlas.

Stock value and savings

Stock values are shown at purchase cost. The €27,099 figure is the rounded cost value of the 7,324 units held in product 79323P. The €28,565 figure is the rounded cost value of estimated excess stock in product 85014A, after allowing for expected demand. These are stock values, not savings or amounts of cash recovered.

Releasing cash depends on what happens to that stock: whether it sells, at what price, and what costs or contractual terms apply. The figures are not a forecast of your results or a valuation of your inventory.

How to read a recommendation

Quantities, stock cover and time since the last sale reflect the records and analysis date used. They do not describe a live stock position. Purchase recommendations take account of the available demand, stock, incoming orders, lead times and case sizes.

Your team reviews the recommendation alongside information that may not appear in the records, including customer commitments, product changes and supplier terms. Your team makes the purchasing decisions.

Working with your data

Before an analysis begins, we agree the scope, price and data handling in writing. Contacting Sage AI or requesting a demo does not commit you to purchasing an analysis.
